유형별로 보면 향정 199명, 대마 151명, 기타 마약류 17명이다.
동기간 전국 마약류 사범은 1만575명이고, 이 중에서 밀수사범은 868명이다.
특히 밀수사범의 경우, 전국 868명 중 인천 367명으로 42.2%의 비중을 차지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
또 전년도와 비교하면 지난 1년간 검거된 마약류 사범은 1821명, 이중 밀수사범 123명으로, 밀수사범의 경우 이미 올 상반기 전년도 검거 인원을 초과했다.
검찰은 최근 올 4~10월 마약류 관리에 관한 법률 위반 혐의로 27명을 검거하고 이중 19명을 구속기소했다.
이들은 대부분 여행객을 가장하거나, 항공화물에 마약류를 숨겨 밀수한 것으로 조사됐다.
